Meze-Mazi came on my radar when I saw photos of their loukoumades on Instagram. Sadly they only serve these for dinner and I had come during lunch time. My sad face didn’t last long as dish after dish of amazing Greek food started appearing on our table. The first to come was the Saganaki Kefalograviera which was a giant slice of pan-fried cheese that was chewy with a slight sour punch from the lemon squeezed over it. C doesn’t like soft cheeses so this was up his ball park and he had one of the biggest smiles on his face. Eat this quick while it’s still hot as it does harden up and you lose that gooey softness once it’s cooling down.

That pita bread was amazing – fluffy, light and fresh. Eating this with the refreshing eggplant, capsicum, garlic and oil dip was perfect.
Perfect cooked pieces of lamb that was juicy and tender and a bit pink in the middle. I’m in love! Dip this in tangy tzatziki and wrapped in fresh slices of pita you’ve got yourself an amazing yiros.
Lamb Souvlakia ($29)
Definitely would be back not only for their loukoumades but also to try more of their dishes. When I went the place was filled with Greek people so that is always good sign (if you know me, I wouldn’t walk into a Chinese restaurant with no Chinese diners in there :P).
