Postcards from Paris

I’ve heard Paris is one of those places you either love or hate. There is no in between. Lucky for me I fall into the former category and couldn’t resist the charm of Paris – it just oozes sophistication and you can’t help but admire the beautiful buildings littered around.

Who could not go to the Eiffel Tower in Paris? Charming both day and night :)

One of my favourite buildings was the Paris Opera and I’m glad H is into Opera buildings as this place was so beautiful. Words cannot express it so I’ll let the pictures do the talking.

Day trip to Versailles and I’ve heard the horror stories of the lines. Lucky for us we got there early and it was a day with no fountains so the crowds were a lot tamer than usual. It’s definitely a place you want to have at least a day to wander through as this place is so huge. I think we got in at around 8am and left at 4-5pm.

The gardens are so vast and beautiful – would love to come here again to see the fountains on :)

It was so weird to wander from the grand palace into the countryside in Versailles. There were even farm animals!

Monet’s Garden

Monet’s Garden was so beautiful and you could see how much inspiration this place draws. The flowers were so pretty and filled with so many colours.

After going to Monet’s Garden, we wandered around Giverny and this quaint little French town was too cute. Just look at these houses!

France you are too charming with all your beauty :)
