Indian Temptations, Blair Athol

Every uni student should have heard of Indian Temptations – I’ve heard of some peeps leaving a bit earlier on pubcrawls just to go eat here. Back in the day, it probably wasn’t the flashiest place but now they’ve really revamped from a small takeout shop to, dare I say it, a restaurant.

Puffy, crispy garlic naan bread dipped into the flavour filled curry was delicious.

Servings are huge for what you pay for and it is the best Indian food I’ve had in Adelaide. Prawn malai is my go to curry (my favourite curry from here!) with sauteed prawns in a mild, slightly creamy curry sauce. C choose the lamb vindaloo which was a spicy and tangy dish. Luckily we both liked the dishes we chose better than the other – no food fights here :)

For the super sweet tooth, you need to try their mango lassi. It’s kind of like a smooth, thick milkshake with a very sweet mango flavour – yummo.

Definitely a must try for those who haven’t been, and for those who have, what are you waiting for – it’s time to go again.

Food: 4/5
Service: 3/5
Atmosphere: 2/5 – to be honest, who really cares about the atmosphere when it tastes this good?
